Terms of Use

Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the account information you provide is accurate. Do not create an account for someone under 18.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity under your account. Use a unique password, do not share access codes or sessions, and notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or preserve the service.

Acceptable use

Use the service for personal golf education and authorized coaching activities. You may not:

• access another person’s account, progress, messages, or private media;
• probe, disrupt, overload, automate abuse against, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or bypass security controls;
• upload malware, unlawful material, or content that violates another person’s privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights;
• submit a video of another person unless you have their permission; or
• use the curriculum or service to misrepresent qualifications or engage in unlawful conduct.

Your content

You keep ownership of notes, profile information, swing videos, and other content you submit. You grant Dirck Golf School a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, display privately to authorized reviewers, back up, and delete that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and maintain the service. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for short-lived backups or a documented legal/security requirement.

Do not upload highly sensitive information or content you do not have the right to share. Swing videos are intended for private review, not public posting. Student–coach messaging is not included in the initial mobile release.

Dirck Golf School content

The curriculum’s original text, organization, graphics, exercises, and software are owned by or licensed to Dirck Golf School. We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use them through the service. You may not republish, sell, scrape in bulk, or create a competing content library from them without written permission.

Third-party links

The curriculum may link to YouTube videos, equipment pages, and other third-party websites. A link opens the third party’s app or website; Dirck Golf School does not embed, download, rehost, control, or endorse every statement on those services. Their terms and privacy policies apply. Links may change or become unavailable.

No digital purchases in the initial release

The initial app does not sell digital subscriptions, course unlocks, or in-app purchases. Access is provided under the currently approved free account and eligibility model. Any future paid digital feature will have separate terms and store-compliant purchase disclosures before it is offered.

Golf instruction and safety

The service provides general educational information, not medical advice or a guarantee of performance. Golf activity carries risks. Use appropriate space and equipment, follow facility rules, stop if you feel pain or unsafe, and seek a qualified professional for medical concerns. Results vary by person and practice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every external link will remain available. We may fix, update, limit, or discontinue features. Material changes affecting your rights or data will receive an appropriate notice.

Account termination and deletion

You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion through the account-deletion page. We may terminate an account for a serious or repeated violation of these terms, unlawful conduct, or a material security risk. Sections that reasonably need to survive—such as ownership, lawful limitations, and dispute-related records—continue only as applicable.

Disclaimer and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as available” without warranties that cannot truthfully be made for a small online service. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. To the extent permitted by law, Dirck Golf School is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by use of the service or third-party destinations.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained, shared, secured, and deleted.
